• Set of original brake shoes KNOTT ANS with self-adjusting for wheel units KNOTT 20-2425/1 (inner drum diameter 200 mm, shoe width 50 mm)
• Set includes all internal components and springs of the wheel unit for one axle (2 wheels) except the adjustment wedges and adjustment screw
• The kit also includes a plastic guide for easier attachment of the jaws to existing adjustment keys
• The kit can be used to easily upgrade the 20-2425/1 wheel unit without self assembly. Simply replace the existing wheel unit with a wheel unit with automatic brake shoe clearance. No special modifications are needed for the exchange.
• Automatic shoe clearance adjustment increases braking efficiency and extends the intervals between service visits to adjust the brake system.
• After the brake shoes wear out, it is not necessary to change the entire ANS set, it is enough to replace only the standard shoes, which are now all adapted in the original for installation in both a conventional brake system without ANS self-adjusters and in an ANS brake system with self-adjusters (Attention, this does not apply to non-original imitations of brake shoes KNOTT, which often have problems even with the correct function of the automatic reversing system and are not adapted for the ANS system at all)
• Wheel units 20-2425/1, for which this set is intended, are mounted, for example, on axles KNOTT GB 8, GB10, GB 13, VGB 8, VGB 10, VGB 13. KNOTT wheel units are also used by some smaller trailer axle manufacturers.
• Springs other than those listed below in the related products cannot be ordered separately as a spare part. If they are damaged or lost, the entire set must be ordered.
