The original rubber sleeve is designed to protect the pull tube of the overrun brake AL-KO 161S and 251S from weather conditions and dirt. We recommend replacing a cracked or otherwise damaged cuff as soon as possible. Otherwise, a rusted or dirty towing tube will quickly damage the ramp brake bushings.

The rear circular hole of the cuff is fitted with a protrusion on the inside for inserting the cuff into the groove of the ramp brake sleeve (the diameter of the sleeve inside the groove is 60 mm). The front part of the cuff is specially shaped to surround the ball coupling mounted on the towing tube. There are two tabs on the side of the cuff designed to thread the cuff over the head and nut of the rear coupling bolt. The total length of the cuff in the extended working position on the ramp brake is approx. 12.5 cm.
