The original rubber sleeve is designed to protect the pull tube of the overrun brake AL-KO 2.8VB (3500 kg) and AL-KO Profi V 3500 from weather conditions and dirt. We recommend replacing a cracked or otherwise damaged cuff as soon as possible. Otherwise, a rusted or dirty towing tube will quickly damage the ramp brake bushings.

The rear circular hole of the cuff is fitted with a protrusion on the inside for inserting the cuff into the groove of the ramp brake sleeve (the diameter of the sleeve inside the groove is 73 mm). The circular front part of the cuff seals directly to the circumference of the 60 mm diameter towing tube just behind the tow ball coupling.

The total length of the cuff in the extended working position on the ramp brake is 11 cm.
