The spring-loaded locking pin can be used to lock various moving parts. When closed, a pin protrudes from the tubular housing in the front part. When the handle is pulled backwards against the spring resistance, the pin is inserted into the tubular housing. When the handle is released, the spring will again extend the pin. By turning the handle half a turn in the extended position, the pin can be locked in the open position.
The surface treatment is made by galvanizing.
