Robust cast iron towbar for braked trailers AL-KO Profi AK 351

• Mounting on the ramp brake pipe with ⌀ 60 mm
• The towing hitch is primarily intended for overrun brakes AL-KO with two M16 screws attached horizontally at a spacing of 54 mm.

The wear rate indicator on the drag link indicates wear on the ball joint, not just wear on the drag link itself. If the pointer is pointing to the red box marked with "-", this indicates one of the following possibilities:

• There's excessive wear on the towing clutch. The ball stud does not show excessive wear or irregular wear after inspection with a feeler gauge or caliper. Solution: Replace the towing hitch.
• The ball joint (ball) of the towing bracket is excessively worn.A pulling clutch connected to an unworn ball stud has a wear rate indicator line in the green box marked "+". A gauge to check the wear rate of the ball stud falls through the ball. Solution: Replacement of the towing bracket ball stud.
• Both the ball stud (ball) and the pulling clutch are worn.When connected to an unworn ball, the pulling clutch has the wear rate indicator line in the red "-" box and the ball stud wear rate gauge falls through the ball. Solution: Replace both components. Even though the wear rate indicator may point to the green box after replacing only one component, such a connection is not safe.
• The drawbar clutch locking mechanism is incorrectly closed or damaged.This can be caused by insufficient lubrication of moving parts or damage to the locking mechanism. We recommend that you have it checked by a qualified workshop.
