500 kg load capacity per tyre

The load index of 84 corresponds to a maximum load capacity of 500 kg per tyre in single fitment. Two tyres therefore have a combined nominal load capacity of up to 1,000 kg.

The second load index, 82, applies to dual fitment. However, the combined load capacity of the tyres does not determine the trailer’s permitted gross weight or payload. The actual permitted load is also limited by the load ratings of the rims, axle and chassis, as well as the approved weights of the specific trailer.
