Powerful KANGAROO K6000E-SR electric winch

The KANGAROO K6000E-SR electric winch operates at 12 V and offers a maximum pulling capacity of 2722 kg / 6000 lbs. It is equipped with a 1.9 HP / approx. 1.4 kW electric motor and a robust 3-stage planetary gearbox with a 226:1 gear ratio.

The winch features an automatic brake integrated into the drum and an electrical system with a sealed 350 A relay. It allows powered winding and unwinding of the rope and also features a free-spool function, allowing the rope to be quickly pulled out by hand towards the vehicle being loaded.

What does a pulling capacity of 2722 kg mean?

The stated maximum pulling capacity of 2722 kg (6000 lbs) does not mean that the winch is only suitable for vehicles weighing up to 2722 kg. The winch rating represents the maximum pulling force the winch can generate on the rope under specified conditions. It therefore does not define the maximum weight of the vehicle being loaded.

When loading a vehicle onto a car transporter trailer, the winch does not lift the vehicle vertically into the air. Instead, it pulls the vehicle on its wheels up the loading ramp. The winch mainly has to overcome tyre rolling resistance, drivetrain resistance and the force generated by the incline of the loading ramp. For a freely rolling vehicle, the required pulling force is therefore generally much lower than the actual vehicle weight.

The actual pulling force required depends on several factors, particularly the vehicle weight, ramp angle, tyre condition and pressure, surface, wheel movement and any vehicle damage. Locked wheels or significant chassis damage can substantially increase the required pulling force.

The 2722 kg / 6000 lbs rating represents the maximum rated pulling capacity of the winch on the first layer of rope on the drum. As additional rope layers build up on the drum, the effective drum diameter increases and the available pulling force gradually decreases. For demanding loading operations, it is therefore beneficial to have a larger portion of the rope unwound from the drum.

The winch is equipped with a Ø 6 mm synthetic rope with a length of 16 metres. The low weight of the synthetic rope makes it significantly easier to handle when pulling it out of the trailer towards the vehicle being loaded.

Unlike conventional steel cable, synthetic rope does not corrode and does not form sharp metal splinters. This is a practical advantage, particularly when the winch is used frequently. The rope is fitted with a hook and runs through a smooth aluminium fairlead suitable for synthetic rope.

Separate 74 Ah battery

The complete kit includes a separate 12 V battery with a capacity of 74 Ah, providing power to the electric winch directly inside the trailer.

Thanks to its own battery, the winch does not depend on a direct power supply from the tow vehicle's electrical system during loading. The entire system is therefore ready for use directly in the car transporter trailer and provides a convenient solution, particularly for regular use.

Robust steel mounting bracket for DEBON C1000 and C2000

The kit includes a heavy-duty steel winch mounting bracket designed for installation in the enclosed DEBON C1000 and DEBON C2000 car transporter trailers. The bracket ensures stable positioning of the winch inside the trailer and, together with the winch and battery, creates a complete vehicle loading system.

Wired and wireless remote control

The KANGAROO K6000E-SR is equipped with both wired and wireless remote control. This allows the operator to stand in a suitable position during loading while monitoring the movement of the vehicle and its position inside the trailer.
