The all-aluminum Gromex L8.5m car transporter is the longest and only model from the manufacturer Gromex for transporting two medium-sized vehicles. Its low operating weight of 840 kg provides a load capacity of up to 2660 kg. The entire loading area of the car transporter, referred to as the “flat loading area” in cargo trailers, is equipped with numerous attachment holes with stainless steel sleeves that protect against deformation caused by attachment devices, as well as attachment eyes on the side profiles of the loading area, which allows flexible use and securing of any transported cargo. The main advantage of the all-aluminum Gromex trailers is their low operating weight while maintaining the structural robustness and simplicity of all components. In combination with R10 wheels, a low center of gravity is achieved and at the same time very stable driving characteristics with an optimal wheelbase are ensured. Another advantage of Gromex semi-trailers is the ramp length of 2500 mm, which ensures a favorable approach angle and eliminates the need for a folding mechanism, which extends the time for loading and unloading a car, increases the operating weight of the semi-trailers and can be a source of future problems due to wear.
