The winch is equipped with an automatic brake. The winch handle AL-KO 501 PLUS is not removable, it is necessary to turn the handle when unwinding the rope. During winding, the manual winch spool is secured by an automatic anti-reverse latch. If the crank is turned in the opposite direction of winding, the rope can be lowered or moved, the latch is automatically released without the need for manual release. When changing the winding direction again, the latch automatically engages and locks the spool to prevent the rope from unwinding. The rope is only pulled out when the crank is turning.
Maximum load with rope: 500 kg - empty coil, 170 kg - full coil.
