The winch is equipped with an automatic brake and a removable crank. During winding, the manual winch spool is secured by an automatic anti-reverse latch. If the crank is turned in the opposite direction of winding, the rope can be lowered or moved, the latch is automatically released without the need for manual release. For easy rope pulling, the AL-KO 901 PLUS A is equipped with an automatic unwinding system. After releasing the brake by moving the crank against the winding direction and then removing the crank, the rope can be continuously unwound from the winch to the required length without the need to turn the crank.
