VARTA Professional SLI 105 Ah / 800 A

The VARTA Professional SLI 930105080 is a powerful, maintenance-free 12 V battery with a capacity of 105 Ah and a cold cranking current of 800 A CCA. Thanks to its dimensions of 330 × 172 × 240 mm and GR31 case size, it offers a suitable alternative in terms of dimensions and performance to the HANKOOK DC31MF 100 Ah / 800 A battery used in Brian James Trailers.

The battery is particularly suitable for trailers equipped with electrohydraulic tipping systems, electric winches or other high-power 12 V electrical equipment.

Alternative to HANKOOK DC31MF for Brian James Trailers

Selected Brian James Trailers models are originally equipped with the HANKOOK DC31MF battery, rated at 100 Ah with a cold cranking current of 800 A. The VARTA Professional SLI offers a capacity of 105 Ah and the same cold cranking current of 800 A CCA, with almost identical dimensions.

For hydraulic systems and electric winches

Electrohydraulic pumps on tipping trailers and electric winches require high current for short periods during operation. The VARTA Professional SLI provides a cold cranking current of 800 A CCA and a capacity of 105 Ah, delivering the current output and energy reserve required for these applications.

As an alternative replacement, the battery can be used in suitably equipped versions of Brian James Tipper, Connect, A Transporter, T-Transporter, Race Transporter 6 and Race Transporter 7 trailers. Exact compatibility depends on the electrical equipment fitted to the individual trailer.

Connecting the battery in place of HANKOOK DC31MF

The HANKOOK DC31MF uses dual Marine Twin terminals, whereas the VARTA battery has standard battery posts. High-quality battery terminal clamps with threaded connections can be used to connect the ring terminals of the hydraulic unit or electric winch cables.

This allows the practical threaded connection of heavy-duty power cables to be retained, similar to the original HANKOOK battery.
