Detailed information

Product detailed description

The reduction is used to connect a trailer with a thirteen-pole 12V plug - fork (ISO 11446) to a standard seven-pole 12V socket (ISO 1724) of the towing vehicle. The short version of the reduction does not unnecessarily lengthen the connection. The reducer can be permanently attached to the trailer plug and removed only when needed.

The reduction converts all the functions carried out in the car's seven-pole socket - left and right blinker, left and right end light, brake lights, fog lamp and skeleton.
If a trailer with a thirteen-pole plug (fork) is equipped with a reverse switch, it cannot be switched on via the reducer, because in the standard regulatory connection there is no longer a free contact in the seven-pole version of the socket on the car for the reverse switch. Similarly, the reduction does not convert other functions that can be connected on a trailer with a thirteen-pole fork (permanent power supply of appliances, battery charging, etc.)

Connected inputs - outputs:

1 - left turn signal

2 - nebula

3 - skeleton

4 - right blinker

5 - right end lamp

6 - brake lights

7 - left end lamp
