• AL-KO brake axle for trailers sprung with rubber rods in a hexagonal profile
• Thanks to the special shaping of the hexagonal axle and arm pins, the rubber rods are not only compressed under load, but also roll down the side of the hexagon. The result is a more comfortable course of suspension and higher natural damping compared to the classic construction of rubber-suspended axles with a square profile.
• High-quality suspension with high self-damping has a positive effect not only on driving comfort, but also on driving safety
• The axle is fitted with AL-KO wheel brake units with automatic reversing. When backing up, when the brakes are activated by the pressure of the towing vehicle, the wheel unit mechanism can distinguish the direction of the wheel's rotation backwards and release the brakes.
• High-quality double-row encapsulated ball bearings with permanent grease filling increase the reliability of the system without higher maintenance requirements
• The axle arms allow for easy installation of the spacer bracket for additional shock absorbers after removing the plastic blanks
• The axle is equipped with a central holder for two cables. When using the axle as the front on a tandem trailer, it is necessary to use the reduction of cable guide holders from 2 to 4 order no. 249236 or order no. 101111  (not included in the delivery)   
• The axle is delivered without cables and wheel bolts.  Suitable cables and wheel bolts can be found further down the page in the menu of related products. Choose the wheel bolts according to the specification of the bearing surface of the bolt of your discs. When using a wheel bolt with an unsuitable seating surface, the bolt may loosen while driving. Always use new wheel bolts for a new axle. Do not lubricate the wheel bolts with oil or other lubricating grease.
