Product detailed description
This ramp brake is designed for both top and bottom mounting on "V" shaped drawbar. The sturdy cast iron brake body is fitted with a metal handle on the top for easier grip when handling the trailer. On this type, two connected double-arm levers are used side by side in parallel, which ensure reliable transmission of braking force to the rod and cables during operation.
The brake is supplied complete including the K35-C ball clutch and the safety cable.
The front mounting holes are oval - allowing the brake to be used on trailers with front axle spacing from 120 mm to 140 mm. The distances of the centres of the holes in the antero-posterior direction are 166 mm and 207 mm measured always from the front hole.
