The reducer is used to connect a trailer equipped with a standard seven-pole plug-fork (ISO 1724 type 12N) to a 13-pole car socket (ISO 11446). The short design does not interfere and does not unnecessarily prolong the connection. It is particularly suitable for cases where you want to leave the reducer permanently plugged into a car socket. For this purpose, the reducer is equipped with a spring-loaded cap on the seven-pole socket side.
