Detailed information

Product detailed description

The reducer is used to connect a trailer with a 13-pole 12V plug - fork (ISO 11446) to a standard 7-pole 12V socket (ISO 1724) of the towing vehicle.

The short design of the reducer does not unnecessarily lengthen the connection and the reducer can be permanently mounted on the trailer plug and only removed when needed.

The reduction converts all the functions brought out in the car's seven-pole socket - left and right turn signals, left and right tail lights, brake lights, fog lights and carcass.
If a trailer with a thirteen-pole plug (fork) is equipped with a reversing socket, it cannot be lit via the reducer because in the standard regulation wiring there is no longer a free contact for the reversing socket in the seven-pole socket design on the car.

Similarly, the reducer does not transfer other functions that may be involved on a trailer with a 13-pole fork (permanent power to appliances, battery charging, etc.)

Connected inputs - outputs:

1 - left turn signal

2 - fog light

3 - skeleton

4 - right turn signal

5 - right tail light

6 - brake lights

7 - left tail light
