Twin-Rams – Two Hydraulic Cylinders
The larger models, with loading platforms measuring approximately 3,600 × 2,000 mm and 4,000 × 2,000 mm, feature the Twin-Rams system with two hydraulic cylinders as standard. The twin-cylinder arrangement provides stable lifting of the larger tipping body and helps distribute the forces generated during operation.
The electro-hydraulic system is powered by its own battery. To ensure reliable operation, the battery should be kept adequately charged and the manufacturer's instructions regarding safe tipping, load distribution and weight limits must always be followed.
Fully Removable Steel Sides – Tipping Trailer and Flatbed in One
All Brian James Tipper models are equipped with fully removable standard steel side panels measuring 308 mm in height. The corner posts can also be removed, creating an open, flat loading platform and significantly extending the trailer's range of applications.

2. Mesh Side Extensions – 660 mm High

Combined with the standard side panels, they provide a nominal total side height of approximately 968 mm. The mesh construction creates a high-capacity load area without fully enclosed upper side panels.
3. Heavy Duty Solid Side Extensions – 660 mm High
The 660 mm high reinforced Heavy Duty solid side extensions are intended for demanding professional applications. Their strong, fully enclosed construction provides a tall loading area suitable for a wide range of bulk and bulky materials.
When fitted above the standard sides, the nominal combined side height is approximately 968 mm. This option is particularly suitable for users who require increased loading volume combined with robust, solid side panels.
Important: Increasing the loading volume does not increase the trailer's permitted gross weight or payload. The weight of any fitted accessories must be taken into account, and all applicable weight limits, axle loads and load distribution requirements must be respected.
Versatile Rear Tailgate and Practical Unloading Options
Brian James Tipper trailers feature a practical rear tailgate arrangement designed to simplify everyday loading and unloading. The standard 2-Way Tailgate offers different opening methods depending on the type of cargo and unloading requirements.
