Brian James Kick-Down rear folding support stands are genuine accessories for Brian James Tipper 525 and 526 series tipping trailers. They are designed to support and stabilise the rear of the trailer, particularly when loading and unloading heavy machinery using loading ramps.

When loading a mini excavator, skid steer loader, garden machinery or other heavy equipment, the rear of the trailer is subjected to considerable loads. Without rear support, the axles are compressed and a lever effect is created, which can lift the front of the trailer, drawbar and overrun brake upwards.

The rear support stands transfer part of the load directly to the ground during loading, stabilising the trailer and reducing unwanted movement of the drawbar and overrun brake. This helps protect not only the trailer itself, but also the overrun brake, drawbar and connection to the towing vehicle from excessive stress and potential damage.

Quick-Folding Kick-Down Design

The special Kick-Down folding design allows the support stands to be quickly lowered into the working position before loading. Once loading is complete, the stands can easily be returned to the transport position.

We particularly recommend the support stands when regularly using Brian James 1800 or 2350 mm steel loading ramps and when transporting mini excavators, loaders and other construction or work machinery.
