Brian James Tipper 526-4020-35-2-12 is the largest version in the professional Brian James Tipper range in a twin-axle configuration. With a gross weight of 3500 kg, the trailer offers a usable load area of approximately 4000 × 2000 mm with the side panels fitted. Once the side panels and posts are removed, it becomes a flat platform measuring 4100 × 2090 mm. The trailer is designed for intensive daily professional use in construction, agriculture and municipal services, as well as for transporting construction machinery and other equipment.

The Tipper is an exceptionally versatile working trailer. It can transport bulk materials such as sand, gravel, soil or construction rubble, as well as palletised goods, building materials, machinery and a wide variety of general cargo.

Tipping is powered by a high-performance electro-hydraulic unit with its own 12V battery. This model uses the Twin-Rams system – two hydraulic tipping cylinders, providing stable and reliable operation of the tipping mechanism even under intensive working conditions.

Click & Clamp – heavy-duty steel side panels

One of the distinctive features of the Brian James Tipper range is its exceptionally robust steel side panels, approximately 50 mm thick, designed for demanding everyday professional use. Compared with conventional lightweight aluminium side panels, they provide a very strong construction and excellent durability when transporting building materials, machinery and bulk loads. The distinctive coloured strip on the side panels is available in five versions: yellow, red, blue, anthracite or black.

The Click & Clamp system uses self-adjusting locking posts in combination with a side-panel clamping system. This increases the rigidity of the entire structure while reducing unwanted movement and rattling of the side panels during transport.

The side panels and posts can be completely removed, easily converting the trailer into a flat platform measuring 4100 × 2090 mm. With the side panels fitted, the usable load area is approximately 4000 × 2000 mm. This design significantly expands the trailer's versatility, for example when transporting pallets, building materials, machinery or oversized loads.

2-Way Tailgate – dual-function rear tailgate

The standard rear tailgate uses the 2-Way Tailgate system. It can be folded down in the conventional way for normal loading and unloading, or secured at the top using the mechanism in the rear posts and used as a swinging tailgate for convenient and controlled discharge of bulk materials.

As an option, the trailer can also be equipped with a split rear tailgate measuring 2000 × 308 mm, which opens sideways like container doors and makes handling different types of cargo easier.

Professional construction and load bed

The Brian James Tipper is designed for demanding professional use. A highly robust reinforced main chassis and load bed are standard. Heavy-duty integrated load securing points in the floor and along the sides of the chassis allow transported loads, construction machinery and other equipment to be secured safely.

The electro-hydraulic system battery features maintenance charging from the towing vehicle. The lockable front storage box protects the electro-hydraulic unit, battery and related equipment, including the charger and emergency power cables.

Transporting mini excavators and construction machinery

The Tipper can be equipped with heavy-duty Brian James steel loading ramps for transporting mini excavators, skid-steer loaders, garden machinery and other working machines. The ramps are available in two lengths – 1800 mm and 2350 mm.

The shorter 1800 mm ramps provide an approach angle of approximately 24°, while the longer 2350 mm ramps reduce the approach angle to approximately 18°. The longer version is therefore particularly suitable for machines with lower ground clearance or a less favourable approach angle.

The maximum permitted weight of the vehicle being loaded depends on the ramp length and the vehicle wheelbase, or the track contact length. During loading, the ramps are securely connected to the trailer, and after use they can be stored and secured against unintended movement in the integrated compartments beneath the load bed.

For safer loading of heavier machinery, the trailer can also be equipped with rear support legs. These stabilise the rear of the trailer while machinery is being loaded and also reduce excessive loading on the overrun brake and drawbar during loading.

Thanks to its combination of a tipping body, removable side panels, the ability to create a flat platform and a wide range of accessories, the Brian James Tipper is an exceptionally robust and versatile professional working trailer.
