2-Way Tailgate – opens upwards and downwards
The Brian James 2-Way Tailgate is a specially designed tailgate for Tipper tipping trailers that provides two opening options – upwards or downwards.
When opened downwards, the tailgate functions like a conventional drop-side panel and provides unrestricted access across the entire rear edge of the load bed.
When opened upwards, the tailgate remains hinged at the top. This design is particularly practical when tipping and unloading loose materials, as the tailgate can swing outwards and provide clearance for the material being discharged.
Standard tailgate for Tipper trailers
The 2-Way Tailgate is the standard rear tailgate and part of the standard equipment on Brian James Tipper tipping trailers.
Alternatively, the trailer can be equipped with side-opening twin rear doors, which replace the standard 2-Way Tailgate.
Five colour options
The tailgate can be colour-matched to the trailer sides. The coloured strip is available in yellow, black, red, blue or anthracite.
