AL-KO Octagon Plus

AL-KO Octagon Plus axle shock absorbers are specifically designed for AL-KO trailer axles. The individual colour variants are optimised for specific weight ranges, ensuring that the damping characteristics correspond to the load of the trailer.

On triple-axle Brian James trailers, each shock absorber is installed separately at the wheel of the respective axle. The complete set therefore includes 6 shock absorbers for 3 axles.

More Stable and Smoother Driving

Axle shock absorbers reduce unwanted oscillation and bouncing of the axles when driving over uneven surfaces. They help maintain better wheel contact with the road and contribute to more stable trailer behaviour during driving and braking.

The result is a smoother ride for the vehicle and trailer combination and greater comfort when transporting loads, particularly with heavier trailers and when driving on roads with poorer surfaces.

AL-KO Octagon Plus Design

AL-KO Octagon Plus shock absorbers use articulated mounting eyes with rubber bushings, allowing installation with an angular deviation of up to approximately 5° without unwanted stress. The mounting bolts are integrated into the shock absorber eyes and are supplied together with the nuts.
