AL-KO Octagon Plus

AL-KO Octagon Plus axle shock absorbers are specially designed for AL-KO trailer axles. The individual colour variants are optimised for specific weight ranges, ensuring that the damping characteristics correspond to the trailer load.

Red AL-KO Octagon Plus shock absorbers are designed for single-axle trailers up to 2,000 kg and tandem-axle trailers up to 3,500 kg. This makes them suitable for heavier twin-axle Brian James trailers.

More Stable and Smoother Driving

Axle shock absorbers reduce unwanted oscillation and axle bouncing when driving over uneven surfaces. They help keep the wheels in better contact with the road and contribute to more stable trailer behaviour when driving and braking.

The result is a smoother ride for the vehicle and trailer combination and greater comfort when transporting loads, particularly with heavier trailers and when driving on poorer-quality roads.

AL-KO Octagon Plus Design

AL-KO Octagon Plus shock absorbers feature articulated mounting eyes with rubber bushings, allowing installation with an angular deviation of up to approximately 5° without undesirable tension. The mounting bolts are integrated into the shock absorber eyes and are supplied together with the nuts.
