The original Aspöck DC connector 15-5976-017, QS075–QS075 is designed for quick connection of two-core flat cables 2×0.75 mm² used in trailer electrical and lighting systems.

The connector is part of the original Aspöck DC (Double Click) system. It allows an electrical connection to be made directly on the flat cable without a conventional detachable connector. It is particularly suitable for connecting position lights, marker lights, number plate lights and other single-function lights to the trailer wiring.

A major advantage of the Aspöck DC system is the silicone sealing of the individual conductors. When correctly installed, the system achieves an IP69K protection rating and provides long-term protection of the electrical connection against water and dirt.

Installation: The 2×0.75 mm² flat cable is inserted into the DC connector and the connection is then closed using Aspöck DC installation pliers. The Double Click system uses two installation stages – the first connection is crimped in position 1 and the second connection in position 2 of the installation pliers.
