The complete set of 4 original Z-TRAILER 3-point wheel tie-down straps is designed for securing a transported vehicle by all four wheels to the loading platform of a car transporter. Each strap is routed over the tyre, creating a stable three-point wheel restraint during transport.

The set includes 4 complete 3-point wheel tie-down straps – one for each wheel of the transported vehicle. Each complete tie-down strap consists of three separate components: a ratchet with hook, a short connecting strap and a long tie-down strap with an end hook.

The short connecting strap is made of polyester (PES), has a length of 400 mm, a width of 50 mm and a lashing capacity of LC 25 kN. The strap complies with the European EN 12195-2 standard for web lashing made from man-made fibres used for securing loads on road vehicles.

The long tie-down strap with hook has a length of 2600 mm and a width of 35 mm. Its lashing capacity is LC 10 kN in straight pull and LC 20 kN when used in a loop. The strap has an SHF of 50 daN, an STF of 100 daN and an elongation of less than 5%. This component is also made of polyester (PES) and complies with the requirements of EN 12195-2.

The 3-point fastening system over the tyre allows the vehicle to be secured by its wheels without the need to route the tie-down straps over the bodywork or chassis components. By using four separate straps, all four wheels of the transported vehicle can be securely restrained.

The tie-down straps are designed primarily for Z-TRAILER car transporters. When used together with Z-TRAILER front and rear wheel stop bars, they allow precise positioning of the vehicle on the loading platform and its subsequent secure fastening for transport.

Thanks to their robust construction, durable polyester webbing and strong metal fastening components, the set is suitable for both professional and private use.
