SPORTJACHT KOMEX 2.45×8" Aluminium Rim Including Bearings

The SPORTJACHT KOMEX 2.45×8" is a genuine aluminium rim with integrated wheel bearing housing, designed for compatible older SPORTJACHT trailers. Unlike a conventional trailer rim, it is not attached to a separate hub using wheel bolts. Instead, it fits directly onto the matching SPORTJACHT KOMEX stub axle via its bearings.

The rim is supplied with two tapered roller bearings, 30303 and 30204, and a hub cap. It is designed for 4.00-8 tube-type tyres.

Special SPORTJACHT KOMEX Design

The KOMEX rim has a different design from conventional trailer rims. The wheel bearings are housed directly in the rim, and the entire assembly fits onto a special SPORTJACHT KOMEX stub axle.

When replacing the rim, the conventional wheel bolt pattern is therefore not the deciding factor. The most important check is to confirm that the trailer uses the SPORTJACHT KOMEX version with the matching stub axle.

The rim is supplied with two tapered roller bearings corresponding to the original SPORTJACHT KOMEX system:

For 4.00-8 Tube-Type Tyres

The rim is designed for compatible 4.00-8 tube-type tyres. A suitable inner tube matching both the tyre and the rim must therefore also be used during fitting.

For Older SPORTJACHT Trailers

The KOMEX rim is a specific replacement part for compatible older SPORTJACHT trailers. Several different wheel, rim and stub axle designs were used during the production of these trailers.

Before ordering, we therefore recommend checking that the original wheel uses the SPORTJACHT KOMEX system and the matching stub axle for bearings with internal diameters of 17 and 20 mm.
