AL-KO 2051 PLUS Brake Drum 200 × 50 mm, 4×100

The genuine AL-KO brake drum 1932107 (previous part number 573192) is designed for AL-KO 2051 PLUS wheel brakes. This version has a 4×100 wheel PCD and is used with AL-KO 2051 brakes for loads up to 650 kg per wheel / 1300 kg per axle.

The brake drum is designed for a 200 × 50 mm brake – the internal diameter of the brake drum is 200 mm and the brake shoes are 50 mm wide. The wheel PCD is 4×100 with M12×1.5 wheel bolt threads.

Brake drum including compact bearing

The brake drum is supplied with a pre-installed double-row compact bearing 39 × 72 × 37 mm. The internal diameter of the bearing for the axle stub is 39 mm.

The separate genuine AL-KO compact bearing kit has part number 1224803. The same bearing kit is also used on other AL-KO 2051 brake drum versions with a 39 mm axle stub.

For correct identification, we also recommend checking the casting number directly on the original brake drum. The AL-KO 2051 version with 4×100 wheel PCD and original part number 573192 / 1932107 uses casting number 581063.

The casting number is usually located on the outside of the brake drum and can significantly simplify identification of the correct replacement part.

ETI – precise AL-KO identification

AL-KO uses the ETI system for precise identification of axles, wheel brakes and their replacement parts. The ETI number can be found on the axle identification plate and usually begins with 811....

The brake drum 1932107 / 573192 has been used on various AL-KO 2051 axle and wheel brake versions. Older AL-KO documentation lists it, for example, under ETI numbers 811002, 811135, 811237 and 811294. If there is any uncertainty, we recommend checking compatibility using the complete ETI number.

Important – other AL-KO 2051 brake drums

The AL-KO 2051 designation alone is not sufficient to select the correct brake drum. Several versions are available for 2051-series wheel brakes with different wheel PCDs and load ratings.

In addition to this 4×100 / 1932107 version, AL-KO 2051 brake drums are also available with a 5×112 wheel PCD. Although they may have the same 200 × 50 mm brake size and the same 39 × 72 × 37 mm compact bearing, they are not the same brake drum.

For correct selection, we recommend comparing the AL-KO part number, casting number, wheel PCD and axle ETI number.

AL-KO 2051 brake shoes

The wheel brake uses 200 × 50 mm brake shoes. When replacing the brake drum, we recommend checking the condition of the brake shoes, springs, adjustment mechanism, brake cables and the other wheel brake components.

The genuine AL-KO brake shoe set 1213889 is used for standard AL-KO 2051 brakes. However, AL-KO 2051 brakes exist in several versions, so we recommend checking the exact wheel brake type before ordering brake shoes.

Important installation information

After removing the brake drum, AL-KO recommends using a new wheel hub flange nut during reassembly. The braking system and wheel bearing assembly are safety-critical components of the trailer, so installation and correct brake operation should be checked by a qualified workshop.
