The Cheval Liberté foal safety gate is a safety feature designed for transporting a mare with her foal in a horse trailer with a 1670 mm wide reinforced rear ramp. The gate helps prevent the foal from attempting to jump over the ramp or becoming trapped in the space between the ramp and the roof, without restricting ventilation. It is attached to the outside of the rear ramp and can be easily folded down and secured with a pin. It does not interfere with normal opening or operation of the ramp. Mounting hardware is included.
