Side Extensions 660 mm

The Brian James Side Extensions perforated additional sides are a genuine accessory for Brian James Tipper tipping trailers with a 310 × 160 cm load bed. They create a high-sided load area designed primarily for the efficient transport of lightweight and bulky loads.

The extension sides have a height of 660 mm and are installed above the trailer's standard 308 mm high steel sides. This increases the total side height from the load bed to 968 mm.

Solid and perforated construction

The Side Extensions are made from galvanised steel and combine a solid lower section with a perforated upper section. The perforated design reduces the amount of material used in the upper section of the high extension while maintaining an enclosed perimeter around the load area.

The high sides are particularly suitable for transporting branches, leaves, garden waste, timber, wood chips, packaging and insulation materials, and other lightweight or bulky loads. This makes them particularly suitable for landscaping companies, grounds maintenance, municipal services, construction companies and general professional trailer use.

More than triple the load volume

With a 310 × 160 cm load bed, the standard 308 mm high sides provide a theoretical volume of approximately 1.53 m³. After fitting the Side Extensions and increasing the total side height to 968 mm, the theoretical volume increases to as much as 4.80 m³.

The load volume is therefore more than three times greater, significantly increasing the versatility of the tipping trailer when transporting materials where volume rather than weight is the primary consideration.

Removable genuine Brian James accessory

The Side Extensions are designed as a removable side extension system. Depending on the job, the Tipper can therefore be used with the high perforated sides or, after removing them, returned to its standard configuration.
