Heavy Duty Side Extensions 660 mm

The Brian James Heavy Duty Side Extensions are genuine accessories for Brian James Tipper tipping trailers with a 360 × 200 cm load bed. Unlike the perforated Side Extensions, they feature a robust solid construction without openings and are designed primarily for demanding work and everyday professional use.

The extension has a height of 660 mm and is fitted above the trailer's standard 308 mm high steel sides. This increases the total side height from the load bed to 968 mm.

Solid reinforced construction

The Heavy Duty Side Extensions are made from galvanised steel and consist of solid profiled panels with a robust construction. Unlike the standard perforated Side Extensions, they have no openings in the upper section and create solid high walls around the entire load area.

The Heavy Duty version is particularly suitable where a high and durable extension is required for everyday professional use and for transporting loose, small and bulky materials.

Rubber sealing strip

The Heavy Duty Side Extensions include a durable rubber sealing strip positioned between the standard sides and the upper extension. It provides an optimal seal between the lower and upper sections of the sides.

The solid construction combined with the sealed joint is particularly beneficial when transporting materials where it is important to minimise the risk of the load falling or spilling through the gap between the individual sections of the sides.

More than triple the load volume

With a load bed measuring 360 × 200 cm, the standard 308 mm high sides provide a theoretical load volume of approximately 2.22 m³. After fitting the Heavy Duty Side Extensions and increasing the total side height to 968 mm, the theoretical load volume increases to up to 6.97 m³.

The load volume is therefore increased to more than three times the standard capacity, significantly expanding the versatility of the tipping trailer when transporting bulky materials.

Removable genuine Brian James accessory

The Heavy Duty Side Extensions are designed as a removable extension system. Depending on the job, the Tipper can therefore be used with the high solid sides or returned to its standard configuration after they have been removed.
