AL-KO 282983 Tipper Mechanism Damper

The genuine AL-KO 282983 special damper is used in the tilting bed mechanism of Z-TRAILER and ALGEMA FIT-ZEL car transporters. It controls the movement of the tilting platform for smoother, softer lowering.

Unlike a standard axle shock absorber, this damper does not primarily operate between the axle and the trailer frame. It is part of the tilting bed mechanism, where it controls the speed of movement and reduces sudden impacts when the platform changes position.
