400 kg load capacity per tyre

The load index of 76 corresponds to a maximum load capacity of 400 kg per tyre. Two tyres therefore have a combined nominal load capacity of up to 800 kg.

However, the combined load capacity of the tyres does not determine the trailer’s permitted gross weight or payload. The actual permitted load is also limited by the load ratings of the rims, axle and chassis, as well as the approved weights of the specific trailer.
