KENDA K371 complete 8" trailer wheel

KENDA K371 complete trailer wheel 4.80/4.00-8 71M 6PR combines a reinforced tubeless KENDA tyre with a steel rim 2.50Ax8 H2 ET0, 4×100. The wheel is supplied as a complete assembly ready to fit onto a matching trailer hub.

The tyre offers a load capacity of up to 345 kg and a speed rating of M – 130 km/h. Thanks to its compact dimensions, this 8" wheel is suitable, among other applications, for older SPORTJACHT trailers and other trailers using matching wheel dimensions and a 4×100 bolt pattern.

KENDA K371 6PR – load capacity of 345 kg

The fitted KENDA K371 4.80/4.00-8 71M tyre has a reinforced 6PR construction and a load index of 71, corresponding to a maximum load capacity of 345 kg per tyre.

Two wheels can therefore provide a combined nominal tyre load capacity of up to 690 kg. However, this figure does not determine the trailer's maximum authorised mass or payload. The actual permitted load is also limited by the axle, hubs and chassis, as well as the approved mass limits of the specific trailer.

Speed rating M – up to 130 km/h

The speed rating of M corresponds to a maximum tyre speed of 130 km/h. The wheel is therefore suitable for road trailers, provided its dimensions and technical specifications match the specific trailer.

Tubeless design TL

In this version, the KENDA K371 tyre is TL – Tubeless, so the complete wheel does not require a separate inner tube.

When replacing an older wheel or tyre, it is important to distinguish between the tubeless TL design and older versions intended for use with an inner tube.

Steel rim 2.50Ax8 H2

The tyre is mounted on a compact steel rim 2.50Ax8 H2. The rim has an offset of ET0, four mounting holes and a bolt pattern of 4×100 mm.

The centre bore has a diameter of 60 mm. When replacing the original wheel, we recommend checking not only the bolt pattern but also the rim size, ET offset and centre bore diameter.

Compact 8" wheel

The tyre has an outside diameter of approximately 403 mm and a width of approximately 119 mm. The very compact 8" design allows use on trailers requiring a small overall wheel diameter.

A small wheel diameter is particularly typical of older and smaller trailers, where it helps maintain a low loading platform.

Suitable for SPORTJACHT trailers

This complete wheel is suitable, among other applications, as a replacement for wheels used on older SPORTJACHT trailers, provided the dimensions of the original wheel and hub match.
