SPORTJACHT Z201 3.00D×8" Two-Piece Aluminium Rim

The SPORTJACHT Z201 is a genuine two-piece aluminium rim designed for 8" wheels on SPORTJACHT trailers. Made from aluminium alloy, the rim consists of two separate halves bolted together.

The Z201 model replaces the older, discontinued SPORTJACHT Z101 rim. It is designed for 4.00-8 tyres and is mainly used for repairs and restoration of older SPORTJACHT trailers.

Two-Piece Construction

The Z201 rim features a distinctive two-piece construction. The two aluminium rim halves are joined together using three bolts with nuts. Three additional holes are used to secure the complete wheel to the corresponding SPORTJACHT hub.

The two-piece design also makes tyre fitting and removal easier. Before disassembling the rim, the tyre must always be completely deflated.

Replacement for the Original SPORTJACHT Z101 Rim

The Z201 model can be used as a replacement for the older, discontinued SPORTJACHT Z101 rim. However, older trailers come in several different designs, so we recommend checking the original wheel and hub type before ordering.

If the wheel size is specified in the trailer's registration documents, the information recorded in the technical documentation for that particular trailer must also be observed when replacing the original wheel configuration.

For 4.00-8 Tyres

The 3.00D×8" rim is designed for compatible 4.00-8 tyres. Tyres originally used on these wheels included the MITAS S-03 and S-04 models.

When choosing a new tyre, we recommend always checking its size, construction and suitability for use on this two-piece rim.

For Older SPORTJACHT Trailers

The Z201 rim is primarily intended as a replacement part for compatible older SPORTJACHT trailers. Given the long history of these trailers, individual wheel and hub designs may vary.

Before ordering, we therefore recommend checking the original rim or hub type, tyre size and wheel mounting method in particular.
